The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has erected roadblocks at major highways leading into Nairobi, in a bid to curb road accidents as people return to Nairobi after the Easter Festivities. 

Kenyans.co.ke has established that there was an intensified compliance check along Waiyaki Way, particularly in Uthiru, targeting motorists coming from Western Kenya, the Rift Valley, and Central Kenya into Nairobi City.
