Media mogul, Dele Momodu, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is aiming to be the sole candidate for the 2027 general elections.
Momodu was reacting to the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to de-recognise the African Democratic Congress, ADC’s leadership led by David Mark.
This came following INEC’s interpretation of a recent Court of Appeal ruling.
Momodu slammed the electoral body and described them as “a debilitating albatross” on the country.
He also claimed that the last time a president tried to be the sole candidate in an election, was the late General Sani Abacha.
