The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has secured funding from the World Bank to support the development of major expressway projects in the country.
The funding is part of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project, a programme which focuses on improving transport infrastructure and regional connectivity.
At the centre of the programme is the development of an expressway network masterplan that will guide future investments in high-capacity highway routes in Kenya.
