The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has moved to calm fears of a possible flight disruption and daily operations at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and other airports after aviation workers threatened to go on strike over unresolved labour disputes.
In a statement issued on Saturday, March 21, KCAA said issues raised by the Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) had been addressed through ongoing negotiations, assuring the public that operations would continue uninterrupted.
