President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says rising global conflict, particularly a confrontation involving the United States (US), Israel and Iran, could negatively affect Namibia’s economy.

Nandi-Ndaitwah said this during her midnight speech for Independence Day celebrations at State House on Saturday.

“Of great concern now is the large-scale war between the US, Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Those factors could negatively impact our economy,” she said.
