Bomet University has officially become the 36th public chartered university in Kenya, after receiving approval from President William Ruto and meeting all national accreditation requirements.

Ruto confirmed the elavation of Bomet University on Wednesday, February 4, saying the move was part of the government’s commitment to bringing higher learning closer to people while also expanding choice for students.
