Former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Waziri Bulama, has said that no single region in Nigeria can win the presidency without building alliances with others.
Bulama made the remarks during an interview on Arise Television.
He explained that Nigeria’s diversity makes cooperation between regions essential for democratic stability.
Bulama was responding to a remark credited to Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, who had said that no politician could win the presidency without the North and that the region would soon decide where its votes would go.
In reply, Bulama argued that no region could produce a president on its own.
