Nigeria: INEC demands security for CVR, Anambra guber election, others — Africa Links 24

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has called for proactive security preparations and deployments for the forthcoming Anambra governorship election and by-elections scheduled to hold in 16 constituencies across 12 states.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, made the call in Abuja on Friday, at the regular quarterly consultative meeting of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Electoral Security, ICES.
