Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South Senatorial District, has outlined stringent conditions under which he would consider defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Abaribe said that any consideration of joining the ruling party would depend on major changes in the way President Bola Tinubu’s government is being run, particularly policies he believes are harming Nigerians.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, the senator said the first condition would be a reversal of policies that “punish Nigerians.”
He added that the size of government must be reduced, while those around the President must be properly checked and reined in.
