2027 polls could be most compromised, expensive – Yiaga Africa

A non-profit organisation, YIAGA Africa, has raised the alarm that the forthcoming 2027 general elections could be the most compromised, and perhaps the most expensive, in Nigeria’s history.

Mr Samson Itodo, the Executive Director of YIAGA Africa, stated this on Wednesday when he featured on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

He was speaking on the leadership of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the state of Nigerian elections.
