A former Director-General of the Labour Party, LP, Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. Akin Osuntokun, has expressed skepticism about the viability of a newly formed opposition coalition aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.

Osuntokun, a former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, said in an interview on Tuesday that while political alliances were not new in Nigeria, he did not see the coalition successfully challenging Tinubu.

He described the President as an experienced politician with a strong strategic advantage.
